Yes! Collab Notes is completely free to download and use. All core features — real-time sync, collaboration, the block editor, and note protection — are available at no cost.

Collab Notes is powered by Firebase Realtime Database. When you share a note, all permitted collaborators see changes live — as you type. Live presence indicators show who is currently viewing or editing a note.

Your notes are stored in Firebase with security rules ensuring only you and invited collaborators can access them. For extra-sensitive notes, add a custom passphrase — even collaborators must enter it to view.

Collab Notes is built with Flutter, supporting Android and iOS. Your notes sync across all devices through your account.

You can view and edit notes while offline thanks to Firebase's local caching. Changes are automatically synced when your connection is restored.

Open any note and tap the Share icon in the top bar. Search for teammates by their registered email, choose permissions, and they'll instantly get access.
